The uncertainty of a changing situation can evoke many emotions and leave us feeling off balance.
It can have us questioning how we feel about the change itself.
If you’ve ever done a pilates session, you’ll know that the instructor often adds a wobble board to your exercise regime. At first you can find yourself wobbling uncontrollably until you focus in on your core muscles, and develop the awareness, understanding and strength to maintain a balance.
The wobble board is a deliberate inclusion, designed as an extra challenge in the short term, knowing that the long term benefit from this change will be worth it.
