Perspective Shifts

Some see a weed; some see a wish …

I thought of this saying as I leaned in close to take a photo of the dandelion growing in the garden.

With the pappus and seeds glistening in the early Spring sunshine, it looked beautiful.

I wonder how many people would have removed this plant without a second glance.

Beyond the common dandelion, we often discover that we have a different perspective than others; and we witness how our own perspective might shift in different contexts.

Perspective, of course, is everything.

Something to keep in mind the next time we are quick to remove the ‘weeds’ of work and life; how might it be a wish in disguise?
