New Keys

Old keys won’t open new doors.

I was reminded of this saying recently when disposing of a collection of old keys. Collected from various sources over the years, their original use is long forgotten.

When the keys don’t fit our current doors, nor the doors we’re yet to open, it is time for them to go.

And, I wonder how letting them go might make it easier to identify the new keys we do need?
