Listen To You

Listening is a valuable skill.

Especially when we use it with ourselves.

We humans are good at providing support, information and ideas to help others. And, we promptly ignore the same when it comes to the help we might need.

Today I listened to myself and the conversations I’ve been having with others about creating space and giving ourselves time. We are humans, not machines, I’m oft heard saying.

Today, I stopped for lunch, took a break from the computer screen, got some fresh air and sunshine, and refreshed my energy and enthusiasm for a productive afternoon.

Tomorrow, I might try listening to myself again. I wonder how that might help, too.

What about you, how might listening to your own self be just what you need right now?
