It’s Been A Week
It’s been a week!
This was the only response I could muster when asked how my week has been. It may have been accompanied by a big sigh.
There is always an upside to having one of those weeks where you just have to grit your teeth and push through.
It provides an opportunity to reconsider our priorities.
It provides an opportunity to practice letting go of control.
It provides an opportunity to reaffirm what sustains us through the tougher moments.
It provides an opportunity to observe our resilience in action.
And, most of all, it reassures us that this week ends and we have the opportunity to start afresh.
Breathe in. Breathe out. If it has “been a week” for you, too, we’re almost through.
