It Will Change

It will change!

My words today when we commented on the dark winter’s morning.

As we approach the tail end of winter down under, the mornings have seen little variation. Dark, cool - not cold - and the occasional pitter-patter of rain.

It will change. Because it always does. And it always is.

The paradox of change always amuses me. In our uncertain world, change is the certainty.

When we stop and look closely, we can notice the buds forming on barren branches. We might observe the minutes of extra daylight. We feel comfortable to leave our winter coat at home.

And, then when the change is obvious, it’s often met with surprise. When did that happen, we might remark.

Before our eyes, is the answer.

Because, yes … weather … humans … life … will change. It always does. It always is.

I’m curious, apart from the seasons, what’s changing in your world right now?
