Intense Focus

There are two little birds who regularly visit our garden, hopping around at ground level searching for insects.

Enter our “bird dog” who, upon spotting one of the birds, holds himself completely still as he contemplates his chase. I see the other bird making its way closer. Alas, he is too focused on the first bird to notice.

There’s a lesson there for all of us.

Intense focus on our goals is vital.

But it is possible to be too focused.

Just like Flash the dog, we too might miss other opportunities hovering close by.

I’m curious, how do you get the balance of focus right when it comes to your goals?
