In Plain Sight

What I needed was hiding in plain sight.

After four attempts to look through the pile of papers, I finally found the one I needed. I knew it was in the pile, yet the on the first three attempts I could not see it at all.

When the missing piece of the puzzle is something tangible, it is simple enough to keep looking until we find it.

When it’s not, we may need to employ some different tactics.

Looking.

Listening.

Asking questions.

Experimenting.

Talking it through.

Testing.

When we discover what we were seeking, we might wonder where it has been hiding. And, we realise it has been in plain sight.

All the more reason to keep going, don’t you agree.
