Great Ideas

That’s a great idea …

but …

How often do we hear the word “but” interrupt our chance for change?

It’s the verbal equivalent of the stop sign hand gesture, abruptly bringing any talk of new, different, better to a halt.

It injects doubt into the initial positive response and makes us wonder if it was truly a great idea.

And, it often becomes a reflex response from the defenders of the status quo.

What if,

it is a great idea,

and,

we would like to tease it out, give it proper thought and consideration, and see how we can make it work.

Great ideas for change can happen when we focus on making them possible.

So how might we take that great idea,

and

make it happen?
