Full Brains

Do you ever have that full brain feeling? The feeling where you wonder if having ONE more thing to think about will make your head explode?

I find that the full brain feeling can creep up on us in much the same way as a full stomach might during a large meal. One minute we’re feeling fine - clear, fresh and focused. Then, boom, one thing tips us over the edge.

When we have a lot of competing demands, projects and ideas, it’s not surprising when the full brain feeling hits. And, when it does, it’s time for a reset.

Time to empty it out of the clutter and non-essential.

Then to add a healthy dose of restraint and mindfulness to help keep it from filling up again too quickly.

Clear, fresh and focused again. Ah, that feels better.
