This was the reminder from one of my son’s teachers about how to maintain focus and energy.
It’s a helpful reminder for us all.
The pressure for productivity often compels us to keep going, and pushing through to get things done.
However, we are humans, and the law of diminishing returns applies to our productive efforts. Focus and energy in shorter bursts with regular brain and body breaks isn’t a practice reserved for kids in a classroom. Small changes like this can make an enormous difference.
Stand, stretch, take a little break. And, keep moving forward on the change you seek to make.
