Change takes time

“I’m sure we’ve done this before. How many times do we need to say the same thing?”

So went the conversation today.

The (maybe) flippant answer is “how long is a piece of string?”

The answer I gave covered these things:

Change takes time.

AND

Change is a long game.

A reminder of this Ovid quote, “Dripping water hollows out stone, not through force but through persistence.”

Change happens drip by drip by drip by drip.

Yes, we do all need to keep saying, and doing, the same thing.
