Change For Good

The more things change,

the more they remain the same.

I’d suggest that the 19th century writer, Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr, would write these same words today.

I, for one, agree that every time we think we’ve seen real, lasting change, we tend to discover we’ve come full circle and things remain just as they were. It’s a reminder that some of the fundamentals of work, life, and being human persist through time. A good, and sometimes not-so-good, thing.

As we reflect on the year that was, I’m curious where we might see more things change for good.
