Another Version
This is version one thousand, two hundred and eighty four!
An exasperated, and hyperbolic, statement made by a friend who was trying to get a document finished.
Many of the revisions made on the way to finished are useful and add value. And, then the law of diminishing returns kicks in and the true value lies in making that final change and declaring it to be good enough. Click SAVE, send it on its way, and it is DONE.
It has me thinking about self-revision and how some change is never done.
We humans can struggle with the ever-changing self and the inability to place that full-stop, and to be done and dusted.
It helps to reflect back on the week that was and consider the learning, growth, and change that has taken place. It makes me curious, what version might we be up to.
