Allow Possibility

Dreams. Intentions. Goals. Resolutions. Objectives. Plans.

There’s a flurry of thinking and doing that happens around these at the beginning of a new year.

“This is the year that …”

“I’m finally going to …”

“It’s about time that I …”

“I’ve always wanted to …”

These words represent possibility and potential. They can also create a mountain of expectation and pressure.

Author Nicholas Sparks wrote: it’s the possibility that keeps me going, not the guarantee.

We know there are no guarantees, other than that things will change. And when they do, how will you allow possibility to guide you forward in the change you seek to make?
