If you’re like me you are seeing a barrage of advice on the ‘best’ way to do/be/start in the new year.

Too. Much. Advice.

And then you come upon words like this from poet, Dede Hawkins:

Be at peace with your eccentric oddities. Own the strange parts of you. It’s what sets you apart from the rest.

And then you think, yes, these are the words we need for a new year.
