Actions Ripple

We never know how far and wide the ripples travel.

I was listening to a story about the value of an original printed version of a Beatrix Potter book, signed and gifted by the author in 1917. The storyteller relayed how the current owner of this less than perfect 100+ year old book treasured the gift handed down from generation to generation.

When Beatrix Potter wrote this book, and signed it for the original owner, there was no way to know that it would exist - with such high monetary and emotional value - over 100 years later.

Much of what we do is rightly focused on the now, or the near future.

Our actions, though, always create ripples. Not knowing where those ripples will go is a powerful reason for taking action today.

Here, take a pebble. What ripples might you create?
